Reactors are used to limit stress on the power supply and load during startup and can be installed
on the supply side, upstream of any inverter.
These reactors filter any voltage spikes or disturbances in the power supply, thereby protecting
all equipment downstream of these devices, namely the inverter and load.

They are mainly used for starting motors. However, there are different types of reactors:
- SHORT CIRCUIT REACTORS: these are reactors used to limit the line current;
- FILTER REACTORS: they are single-phase or three-phase reactors used to filter the network, i.e. reduce the harmonic content in the power supply network;
- SHUNT: these are reactors that prevent the voltage from rising at the end of the transmission line;
- DECOUPLING REACTORS: these are reactors that allow the resonant frequency to be moved to desired and non-dangerous values.
