Power supplies
S.V.T. manufactures a wide range of AC/AC and AC/DC stabilised and non-stabilised power supplies, linear and switching, with a DIN rail mounting box or resin-bonded in an IP66 enclosure with input plug and output cable.
The power supplies manufactured by S.V.T. include standard and/or custom mechanical solutions (boxes, fasteners, connections, etc.) to satisfy
and optimise customer processes and requirements. A careful and targeted choice of components also allows S.V.T. to manufacture power supplies to satisfy even the most demanding sectors such as the electro-medical, military and railway industries.
The careful control of production processes and customised testing with dedicated and specially designed equipment guarantees
S.V.T. power supplies with maximum reliability. OMEGA DIN rail power supplies have been designed and manufactured specifically for the industrial automation, home automation and LED lighting sectors.
Power supplies
S.V.T. power supplies are also used in all industrial and civil applications for which high electrical performance and a high degree of reliability over time are required. The range of power supplies produced includes various modular enclosures, within which the following products are manufactured:
- Regulated AC/DC linear power supplies (50/60Hz);
- Unregulated AC/DC linear power supplies (50/60Hz);
- Unregulated AC/DC linear power supplies (50/60Hz);
- IP66 epoxy resin coated, self-extinguishing regulated AC/DC switching power supplies.
Standard power supplies are available with output voltages of 12Vdc or 24Vdc, with a rated current of 1Amp, which are the most frequently used parameters in the LED and home automation sector.
In addition to the above power supplies, S.V.T. can also supply power supplies with all other voltages and currents, depending on the specific needs of the end customer
In addition to the OMEGA DIN rail power supply units, S.V.T. manufactures power supply units with plug-in housings that are widely used in the battery charger, computer, telephony and industrial automation sectors. The range includes various plug-in housings, in which the following power supplies are manufactured:
- Unregulated AC/AC linear power supplies (50/60Hz);
- Unregulated AC/DC linear power supplies (50/60Hz);
- AC/DC regulated linear power supplies (50/60Hz).
As far as regulated linear AC/DC power supplies are concerned, standard power supplies are available with 12Vdc or 24Vdc output voltage and 1Amp rated current. In addition to the above power supplies, S.V.T. can also supply power supplies with all other voltages and currents, depending on the specific needs of the end customer.
S.V.T. power supplies are designed and manufactured with top quality materials, electrolytic copper wire conductors, insulators with high dielectric and thermal properties (class F and H), impregnation with paint or epoxy resins and extremely robust and safe mechanical support parts suitable for any installation requirement. These supplies can also be manufactured with the customer's logo and references. Protection against overheating and surges can also be installed in these power supplies, so as to increase the degree of protection of the supplies themselves, a condition required in certain sectors in particular (e.g. electro-medical).
The quality of S.V.T. power supplies is verified on several levels: each stage of manufacture is carefully checked. Each power supply unit is 100% tested after production. In this way, the electromagnetic performance and guaranteed safety level is certified for each power supply unit produced. Pre-testing as well as final testing is carried out in accordance with the applicable CEI EN 61558 - CEI 96.7 - 96.8 - CE standards, depending on the type of power supply and its use. It should also be noted that S.V.T. power supplies are manufactured with automatic machines in order to guarantee maximum reliability and repeatability in electrical tolerance parameters. S.V.T. designs and develops different types of customised and often very complex power supply units according to the end customer's needs, maximising performance and preventing any type of problem. S.V.T. power supplies cover a wide range of applications with dimensional and technical characteristics ranging from standard to the most complex customisations.
S.V.T. supports its customers from the design and customisation of the power supplies themselves in order to guarantee maximum results in terms of economics and technical performance.
