High-frequency switching transformers and inductors
High-frequency switching transformers, compared to low-frequency electrical transformers, maximise power output while minimising size and dimensions. High frequency S.V.T. switching transformers are manufactured with innovative ferrite cores with high magnetic permeability and, where transformers require a higher degree of insulation, with triple-insulated copper wires (TIW). These electrical transformers are designed
and manufactured with top quality materials, electrolytic copper wire conductors, insulators with high dielectric and thermal properties (class F and H), impregnation with paint or epoxy resins. S.V.T. high-frequency transformers are produced with automatic machines to guarantee maximum reliability and repeatability in electrical tolerance parameters.
S.V.T. designs and develops different types of switching transformers designed and customised according to the end customer's needs, maximising performance and preventing any problems in terms of safety and electromagnetic compatibility. In addition to traditional switching transformers, S.V.T. also designs and manufactures high-frequency inductors with ferrite core in any form (EE, ETD, toroidal, PQ, RM, etc.). S.V.T. high-frequency switching transformers are also used for radio interference suppression in coupling with capacitors, preventing the propagation of parasitic signals from the power supply and mains in equipment protection and control circuits or in dimmers.
A protection shield can also be applied between the electrical windings of the primary and secondary windings, guaranteeing a higher degree of insulation; on request, thermal overheating protection can also be applied to the primary winding which can be automatically or manually reset, depending on the application required.
S.V.T. high-frequency switching transformers cover a wide range of applications with dimensional and technical characteristics ranging from standard to more complex customisations, either with horizontal or vertical support coils, or with a toroidal core.
A true transformer in which ferrite components are used instead of a laminar stack. These variants are widely used for the production of industrial automation, electronic equipment, measuring instruments and a wide range of safety devices.
Standard production includes types from E15 to E42, with holders that can be used both horizontally and vertically.
A coil of Mylar tape protects the copper winding wire, and finishes also include a metal clip.
S.V.T. supports its customers from the design and customisation of high-frequency transformers, so as to be able to guarantee the best possible result in terms of economy and technical performance. The quality of S.V.T.'s high-frequency switching transformers is verified on several levels: every stage of manufacturing is checked from the initial winding to the final testing of the transformer itself. Every transformer is 100% tested after production. In this way, the electromagnetic performance and guaranteed safety level is certified for each transformer produced.
The pre-testing as well as the final inspection is carried out in accordance with the
CEI EN 61558 - CEI 96.7 - 96.8 - CE applicable standards, depending on the type of transformer and its use. The careful control of production processes and customised testing with dedicated and specially designed equipment guarantees
S.V.T. electrical transformers maximum reliability. Precise and mandatory tests ensure a high degree of safety and reliability of every single transformer produced, in compliance with current national and international standards.
