Industrial toroid transformers
Toroidal transformers have the advantage over lamellar transformers, whether single-phase or three-phase, of guaranteeing high efficiency with considerably reduced dimensions and weight. They are used in all those electrical devices that require small dimensions and high performance (e.g. audio and/or medical transformers). Toroidal transformers must transfer full power to the load, without introducing limitations that would necessarily lead to a decrease in the performance of the finished product on which these transformers are installed.
S.V.T. toroidal transformers guarantee optimum performance and the widest flexibility in terms of dimensions as the magnetic cores are sheared to the end customer's specific requirements.
Both single-phase and three-phase transformers are manufactured, and the toroids are supplied complete with a fastening kit consisting of
consisting of one iron and two rubber discs, a kit necessary for mounting the toroidal transformer itself.

Transformers for every need
S.V.T. toroidal transformers are designed and manufactured with top quality materials, electrolytic copper wire and aluminium conductors, insulators with high dielectric and thermal properties (class F and H), impregnation with paint or epoxy resins, and are extremely robust and safe for any installation requirement.
S.V.T. toroidal transformers can also be supplied complete with epoxy resin in the central hole, on which suitable inserts and/or supports are applied for fixing the transformers themselves, or the transformers can be placed inside a plastic box, which guarantees the transformers themselves a higher IP protection rating for applications requiring it.
A protection shield can also be applied between the primary and secondary windings to guarantee a higher degree of insulation. On request, a thermal overheating protection can also be applied to the primary winding, which can be either automatic or manual reset, depending on the application required. The quality of

toroidal transformers is verified on several levels: each stage of manufacturing is checked, from the initial winding to the final testing of the transformer itself.
Tried and tested products
Every transformer is 100% tested after production. In this way, the electromagnetic performance and guaranteed safety level is certified for each transformer produced. Pre-testing as well as final testing is performed in accordance with the applicable CEI EN 61558 - CEI 96.7 - 96.8 - CE standards, depending on the type of transformer and its use. The careful control of production processes and customised testing with dedicated and specially designed equipment guarantees S.V.T. electrical transformers maximum reliability. It should also be noted that S.V.T. toroidal transformers are manufactured with automatic machines in order to guarantee maximum reliability and repeatability in electrical tolerance parameters. S.V.T. designs and develops different types of toroidal transformers designed and customised according to the end customer's needs, maximising performance and preventing any type of problem.
S.V.T. toroidal transformers can also be manufactured with extra-flat lamellar cores that further reduce the weight and size of the transformers with the same power output.
