Varnished transformer
These items are mainly, but not exclusively, PCB transformers, designed and manufactured to be fixed directly onto electronic boards. Features of these items include:
- Standard power: 0.5VA to 150VA.
- Input voltage: 230V and various;
- Output voltage: 24V and various.
S.V.T. is able to manufacture items with higher power ratings and with any input and output voltage, including multiples.
The copper winding wire is protected by a fibreglass shell. Insulation from external agents is provided by a transparent paint bath. The finishes include various outputs, including PCB terminals and flexible leads, or, on request, various types of connectors can also be applied. The items also come with a clamp for fastening and thermal protection.
They are widely used in the electronics and electromechanical industry, and for the production of industrial appliances, industrial and civil automatisms, satellite equipment, radio and TV sets, as well as for the manufacture of control instruments and numerical control machines.
Resinated transformer
These articles are also mainly used for direct mounting on electronic boards, and are characterised by greater safety with regard to insulation from external agents than the painted versions. These products are equipped with the following features:
- standard power: from 0.5VA to 150VA;
- input voltage: 230V and various;
- output voltage: 24V and various.
As with other models, these S.V.T.'s can provide higher power ratings and various input and output voltages.
A layer of self-extinguishing resin protects the copper wire in the winding and insulation from external agents is ensured by a casting of self-extinguishing resin inside the container in which the transformer is inserted. The product is equipped with PCB terminals, flexible cables or connectors, PCB terminals, protective thermal and enclosure with or without fixing holes.
